Posting Early

Well, it's sooner than January 4th, but I was able to use Emily's parent's computer to upload some of our photos. There are other photos that were taken in Toronto before we came back to Nova Scotia. Those photos can't be accessed right now, but we'll post them in a week.

We're busy looking for a place to live, trying to get some money where none existed before (in fact, a lot of negative money exists) and getting certified for teaching in this province.

Eabha is doing well. She's adjusting to living with Rowan, meeting lots of people again that she sort of maybe remembers from before, and enjoying swinging in the park across the street.

It's late (as is my usual posting habit, regardless of the time zone), so here are some parting words..

To the Aotearoa rable, Eabha still remembers all of you and asks about you constantly. When we were on the plane from Toronto to Nova Scotia, she thought we were headed back to see you. If any/all of you would like to visit, you always have a warm place to stay. To Liz, Care and Heather; it was good to see you all again, too bad it wasn't for longer but give us a call or email.

We have a mobile phone number we can usually be reached at. If you'd like the number, send me an email. We'll try and get on msn soon for all you upside-downers.

Take Care,

John D

This is the "snow person" (gender neutral figure, because it is only wearing a tilley hat and hey...it's a family blog) that Eabha and I built right in-fron of the gate my parents use to get to work. Apparently it was difficult to walk around, and too frozen to push over :) Anyone crying snow tears?.. Em Posted by Picasa

Hello

Well we have arrived back in Nova Scotia. Eabha is adjusting well, despite the colder weather and subsequent snow suits. It should still be a while until we are in a position to print a number of our photos from this blog and change the url. Our next post on Eabha the Kiwi will be on January the 4th, and will include photos of Toronto, and the reunion with Rowan (our dog pal). Right now our missions include getting an appartment, getting my teaching degree certified in Nova Scotia and trying to get these crazy loans (debts) under control.

Hope everyone is well during the holidays. We can be contacted by email or comments for a contact phone number for those who want it!

Take Care,

John D, Emily, Eabha and now Rowan.
